Why Members Matter
For over 50 years, Glen Neighborhood Improvement Association has been creating a better quality of life for our community. GNIA committees and members address a variety of local issues including: zoning, public safety, traffic, trash and public policy that impact our neighborhood. GNIA connections to community leaders and public officials help us access resources. Our voices help influence the decisions that make a difference.
What Membership Can Do
Pimlico Field (pictured right) is GNIA’s latest achievement. GNIA’s public/private partnerships with the Baltimore Ravens helped us transform a vacant, nuisance city property into Baltimore’s newest park and athletic field. With a grant, GNIA made our local library (pictured below) pop with an amazing streetscape and hung the GNIA banners that promote our neighborhood pride.
GNIA SOCIAL EVENTS
Whether it’s National Night Out, a candidate forum, a public official guest speaker, or a report from our local police precinct at our monthly meetings, GNIA provides a friendly place to speak to the people who serve our community. It's a great opportunity to make neighbors into friends.
MEMBERS MAKE IT HAPPEN
GNIA’s network of public, non-profit , and grassroots partnerships has helped to make the Glen area into one of the safest, friendliest, and fastest growing neighborhoods in Baltimore. Become a part of our progress.
